Today is what it is all about! I couldnt have planned a better trip than we had today. The crew today was the key to this being the best day of the year for me. Today I had the pleasure of fishing with my Father, Sister Brittany, One of my oldest and closest friends Alan and two of my heroes! Mike and Joe are both Army Rangers and are both active duty and still fighting for us day in and day out.

Both of these Men have been injured in combat and still………..still, serve and fight for us every day. These men are and always will be an inspiration to me. We started out Snapper fishing and had a respectable 12 Snapper in the box in what seemed like minutes. After the Snapper we switched over to the two hook rigs and caught Mingos and Whites until we were all sick of them.

Then came the King Mackerel and the bonito, we caught 8-10 really big bonito and landed 4 KIngs. We did lose a few really nice ones but thats the breaks I guess. After the KIngs and before we decided to head home for the day, we stopped and hooked Mike into a 300 lb Bull Shark just to make sure we ended the day right. Thanks again to my Father for the ride and to Mike and Joe for there continued service.

Today was very special for me and a day I will remember for a very long time. When you can surround yourself with the people that mean the most to you, while doing the thing that you love doing the most………….. Only good things can happen.

…………………………… See you out there

Another great trip today! Roy and Tommy joined me this morning for an awesome offshore trip. We were fortunate enough to find the Snapper biting and had the 4 we needed in about 6 drops.

After that we messed around with White Snapper and then ran back in the Bay and found a pretty good Spanish Bite. Another wonderful day in the big pond!

Finally made it back in the Gulf today!! Today I ran a double trip and the fish made my life really easy today! For the morning trip I was joined by the Aymand Family. We headed offshore and found the Snapper chewing the hooks off……..literally.

Seemed like a heavy fight for about two hours as we hooked a fought Red Snapper. Finally around 0800 we had our limit and were off in search of the White Snapper. They were biting really well too.

Afternoon trip was a little different, The bite seemed to be alot slower and you really had to pick around to make a limit. We would hit a spot, catch a fish and have to move to the next spot. Catch a legal one and the bite would shut down again. After 8-10 different wrecks we were finally able to catch the last few we needed!

A great day on the water!

……………. See you out there

With TS Debby out of the way it was back to work today! Surprisingly the Bay didn’t look as bad as I had imagined and the fish actually bit pretty good.

Today the Kranz Family joined me for a quick 4 hour trip. We started in the Pass and found a pretty fun bite. We boated a few Sharks and a few Snapper and lost a couple really nice Snapper as well. The bite ended really quick which sent us into search mode.

Seemed like everything we checked was covered in either baby Snapper or Catfish. Today was a good day to get back into the groove of things. Sorry not alot of pictures today my camera was acting a little weird!

The weather may not and we not be able to get out in the Gulf to catch Snapper, but fishing in Pensacola Pass is as good as it gets! Today Bud, Tucker, Allen and Amanda joined for a quick 4 hour trip out of Perdido.

We had plans of trying to Mackerel fish but it was way to rough for a bay boat so we switched gears and headed over to the Redfish rocks! We either caught or lost a fish on every drift. Including several double hook ups. The bite seems to be the best in the incoming tida and right at the slack tide but seemed to die completely once the tide turned!

Another wonderful day on the water chasing my lifes dream and doing with some amazing people!

Today was a long but awesome day!! I ran two trips today and both were very successful. On the morning trip I had the pleasure of running a two boat trip with Capt. Tyler Massey of Hot Spots. We had a great Mackerel bite to start and ended on a really strong Redfish bite on a short 4 hour trip. The Reds were a bit picky but if you could locate the school they would cooperate very nicely!

This afternoon Mike and Shannon joined me on a quick 3 hour trip. We ran to the Pass and after a few drifts and a few break offs we managed to land a beautiful 10lbSnapper. We made a move over to the North Rocks and caught another dozen or so smaller Snapper and Red Grouper. Right before time to go Shannon nailed a really nice Flounder to finish the day off!

Another wonderful day on the water with great people.

…….. See you out there
